This is the TGV (train of big speed, for you unilinguals out there) station outside of Avignon, down in the south. There is an olde-tyme station in the centre of town, right out of a Cold War-era spy flick, but this super-sleek, ultra-modern was built specifically for the longer distance high speed trains on the outskirts. This is where we left for the embassy in Paris, as well as for our direct trip to Rennes. It looks like the future, but you can go there right now.
